David Benioff is currently working on the script for the Wolverine movie. He has previously written scripts for such movies as Troy, and 25th Hour. He is a 1992 graduate of Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, USA

	David Benioff grew up in New York City, and was working there as a nightclub bouncer (is that a great background for writing about Logan or what?) until his novel 25th Hour started gaining recognition. Benioff then wrote a screenplay based on the novel and it turned into a movie directed by Spike Lee and starring Edward Norton. David Benioff adapted the screenplay for the swords-and-sandals epic, Troy, which starred Brad Pitt. In 2005, he sold the screenplay to Stay for 2 million dollars. The film Stay was released in late 2005 and starred Ewan MacGregor and Naomi Watts. David Benioff has done graduate work at the University of California - Irvine in creative writing. He is engaged to actress Amanda Peet. The couple are reportedly planning a mixed Jewish / Quaker wedding ceremony. David Benioff is currently hard at work on the script for Wolverine.
